What we’re looking for in an ideal team member:
Education: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Paramedic with a current license/certification
Work experience: At least one year recent experience.
Bonus qualifications: We’d love it if you have demonstrated knowledge of surgical asepsis, Universal Precautions, MDPH and OSHA standards.
If not, we’re willing to teach you.
What you’ll typically be doing:
Assist the health care professional to ensure the delivery of quality health care to every patient
Collect patient assessment data, including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and learning needs
Provide direct and indirect safe patient care under the supervision of a RN while following appropriate standards, policies and procedures
Follow Universal Precautions guidelines
Facilitate effective working relationships and communication with everyone on our health team
Participate in quality management and clinical outcomes
Be aware of and follow safety and legal requirements for nursing in pain management
Help us improve processes and our practice
