Creative Dining Services at Hope College in Holland, MI is looking for a full-time Utility Supervisor for the AM shift 7:00a - 3:30 p.
m.
The Utility Supervisor oversees staff members work to ensure the facility is clean, sanitary, safe and suitable for food preparation and the customer experience.

Core Responsibilities:
Trains and supervises staff
Participates in hiring, scheduling, time keeping, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions of staff
Receive and unpack all deliveries, ensuring all food and supplies are organized and stored properly Ensures trash bins are clean and emptied as needed throughout the day.
Picks up trash and debris around dock, employee entrance and landscaping area Sweeps and mops kitchen floors as needed Keeps the dock and receiving area clean and organized at all times Works in the dishroom as required, ensuring all equipment, pots/pans, smallwares and serviceware is clean and safe for use Scrubs and mops the cooler floors daily
Assists in cleaning back of house (i.
e.
work tables, walls, etc.
) and front of house (i.
e.
guest tables, dispensers, walls, carpets, tables) Cleans and organizes the janitor's closet Keeps management informed of any faulty equipment in need of repair Maintains cleaning and repair logs and MSDS books as directed by management Additional duties as assigned by management For those working in a lead role, additional duties include: Provide leadership and instruction; Keep management apprised of overall operations;
Refer and provide information to higher level manager/supervisor regarding issues or concerns; and perform other duties as assigned
