Children’s Home-Based Clinician: OnPoint is seeking an energetic, organized, and committed professional to fill a full-time Children’s Home-Based Clinician position.
As a Children’s Home-Based Clinician, you will provide community/home-based therapy services to youth (up to age 21) and their families with a wide range of diagnoses and challenges ranging from moderate to severe emotional disturbance.
PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGE: Salary: starting at $64,874 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.

State of Michigan professional limited license or eligibility required.
Minimum of one year of professional experience working with children and families required.
Valid Michigan driver’s license, vehicle insurance, operating vehicle, and clean driving record required.
Full State of Michigan professional licensure preferred.
Public behavioral health system experience preferred.
Professional experience working with children with severe emotional disturbance preferred.
Three years’ experience as a master’s level clinician with children and families preferred.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide home/community-based assessment, service planning, and therapy for children (5-21) and their families, according to accreditation, funding, regulatory and best practice standards.
Develop measurable person-centered plans of service in partnership with children and their families, assuring a trauma-informed and strength-based approach.
Utilize evidence-based practices in provision of individual, family, and group therapy.
Document services according to established quality and timeliness standards.
Participate in utilization management and quality improvement processes.
Actively engage in supervision and weekly team meetings.
Coordinate services with schools, probation/community justice, healthcare providers and others identified by the child and their family.
Ability to structure workload while accommodating unexpected situations and client needs.
Function as a member of an integrated and diverse team, offering consultation and support to team members and seeking it when necessary.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to function in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
