CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

*Job Title:* Certified Nursing Assistant *Reports To:* Clinical Manager *Approved Date:* 04/12/2022 *SUMMARY* Assist Medical Assistant with patient care as directed by Provider, by performing the following duties.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Bring patients to the exam room, vitals, updates records of vital statistics and other pertinent data of patient.
Cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment and maintains stock of supplies and medications.
Stocks patient rooms, procedure rooms, workstations Assist Medical Assistant with set for laboratory tests and/or procedures.
(WILL NOT ASSIST WITH PROCEDURE) *QUALIFICATIONS * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

*EDUCATION* Minimum education - completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
*CLINICAL SKILLS * Practice Standard Precautions including handwashing, aseptic technique, infection control and disposal of biohazardous materials.
Ability to perform all aspects of patient care.
*COMMUNICATION SKILLS* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, equipment instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively with patients and in a group setting.
*REASONING ABILITY* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
