Registered Dental Hygienist

Position Summary Family-owned dental practice searching for a talented and enthusiastic dental hygienist to add to our growing team.
We are looking for a dental hygienist that has some experience and is comfortable working in a team environment.

Assigned Duties: - Review health history and conduct initial screening - Conduct periodontal charting - Make digital dental radiographs - Perform routine prophylactic cleanings as well as scaling and root planning - Administer local anesthetic (if certified) - Take alginate impressions - Place dental sealants - Patient education and oral hygiene instruction - Maintain detailed electronic chart records - Help with treatment room setup and sterilization - Maintenance of hygiene instruments (ie.
sharpening of instruments) Qualifications/Experience: - RDH from accredited program - Licensed to practice in the state of Michigan - Local anesthetic/nitrous certificate - Strong communication skills - Must be comfortable with technology and EHR - New graduates welcome to apply Compensation and Benefits: - Guaranteed hourly rate based on experience (negotiable) - Other benefits available after tenure Availability/Hours: - Part-time, one or two days per week (schedule will be discussed, subject to availability) - Full-time, four days per week - Preferred Schedule: o Tuesday-Friday: 7:30am-1pm 2-5pm www.
