The PRN Certified Nurse’s Aide, (CNA) (Hospice) works out of our Holland office and is a member of the interdisciplinary group working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse providing various services for hospice patients as necessary to meet their personal needs and to promote comfort.
The PRN Certified Nurse's Aide, (CNA) (Hospice) is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care given.
The salary for the PRN Certified Nurse’s Aide, (CNA) (Hospice) is a flat $25.
00 hour.
The days and hours worked will vary depending on need.
The start time will vary between 6:00 a.
m.
and 8:00 a.
m.
depending on patient load, location and preference.
The ending times will vary accordingly between 1:30 p.
m.
and 4:00 p.
m.

Our service area covers all of Allegan and Ottawa Counties, parts of Muskegon and Kent County (the Grand Rapids metro area) and the northern tip of Van Buren County
Responsibilities of the PRN Certified Nurse’s Aide, (CNA) (Hospice) include:
Providing personal care (bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, changing bed linen, washing hair and nail care);
Assisting with patient safety needs;
Assisting with ambulation and exercises as assigned;
Assists with feeding, as needed;
Takes and records vital signs;
Assists with respite for caregiver when on-site, (as needed); and
Assists with range of motion and other simple procedures to maintain comfort.
Qualifications for the Certified Nurse’s Aide, (CNA) (Hospice) include:
High school diploma or GED;
One year experience in hospice, long term care, or home care; and
Be a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) in the State of Michigan.
