About the Job:
Temporary position with potential for permanent role based on maternity leave.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage the recruitment activities including screening of applicants, interviewing, and making selection recommendations
Process and manage all paperwork for existing and new employees, ensuring employee data is entered into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and/or filed in accordance with compliance regulations
Monitor timekeeping system and issue correction forms as needed
Process and manage workers’ compensation claims, FMLA claims, leaves of absence and fulfilling OSHA requirement for the facility
Administer benefits enrollment and annual open enrollment
Assist in implementing the safety program to minimize risk and foster a safe workplace
Thoroughly and professionally investigate employee complaints with assistance from third-party organization if necessary
Assist and advise Management in processing employee grievances, making appropriate referrals and offering resources when suitable
Conduct exit interviews and issue appropriate separation documents to employees
Process COBRA administration
Attend relevant career development training and maintain required Human Resources certifications
Maintains the required federal, state and local labor posters and notices
Attend job fairs
Provide support and backup to the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, as required
Assist in payroll as required
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or 5+ years of Human Resource experience in lieu of degree
At least 3 year of human resources experience
Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
Ability to follow standard filing procedures
Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch
