*Automotive Dealership Parts Manager*
*Job description:*
McFadden Friendly Motor’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram of South Haven, Michigan wishes to hire a person to make a positive impact in our Parts Department by ensuring our customers and service departments automotive parts needs are met in an efficient and timely fashion.
*Job responsibilities include:*
- Take requests for automotive parts from both internal and external customers
- Specify the appropriate part requested
- Ensure efficient sourcing, procurement, and inventory control of automotive parts and
supplies
- Implement and maintain systems for order management, tracking, and fulfillment
- Sell parts
- Manage individual parts life cycle to ensure active parts are inventory and parts
obsolescence is minimized.
- Assist the service department team with service customers during peak times
*Candidate requirements:*
- 4 years Automotive, Power sports, or tractor dealer parts department experience
- Customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- A positive attitude
- A general knowledge of computer applications
- The desire to make a positive difference
- Automotive mechanical or parts knowledge
- High school diploma or higher education
- Basic automotive mechanical understanding
