POSITION SUMMARY:
Assumes responsibility for all phases of Personal Trust Services.
Works directly with vendors, clients, and the branches to develop new business and client relationships.
Has responsibility for the administration of assigned trust accounts and contacts customers, attorneys, and beneficiaries relating to those accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage assigned and/or newly acquired Trust accounts
• Study the managing document to determine the terms, responsibilities, and duty of the Bank.
• Set up documentation for new accounts.
Maintain relationships with present clients.
• Coordinate administrative functions with attorneys, co-trustees, investment advisors, and CPA’s.
New Business Development
• Work with lenders and branch staff to conduct joint sales calls.
• Represent the Bank in community service clubs.
• Compose and present trust proposals.
• Responsible for cross-selling Bank products.
• Work with Marketing to develop campaigns and statement stuffers.
Special Assignments and Projects
• May assist Personal Trust Manager or Trust Service Director with product and vendor review.
• Attend Trust Committee meetings.
• Stay abreast of applicable regulations and internal policies regarding the Trust Services Business.
