_*JOB SUMMARY*_
Functions as the lead for hourly recruiting efforts, training management & KAM’s pay for performance program.
Will also to provide support to the organization in the areas of payroll back-up, employee relations, company communications and company celebrations.
Position is On-site (Non-Remote) & requires flexible hours due to the need to provide sporadic support for all three shifts.
_*ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*_
* Leads recruitment efforts for all hourly production positions and coordinates the use of temporary employees.
This includes full circle recruitment - planning, conducting the recruitment, selection processes and post hire follow-up.
You will take steps to ensure positive candidate & new hire experiences.
* Organize and/or attend career fairs or other recruitment events.
* Develop recruiting and hiring plans that incorporate internships and cooperative programs.
* Implement and conduct new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
* Manages KAM’s Training Matrix – Review, track and document compliance with mandatory, non-mandatory training and continuing education.
* Lead all training efforts for KAM – This includes coordinating all training for new employees, leading orientation, and identifying development opportunities.
* Will be expected to have a good understanding of the impact of policies, procedures, management decisions and the effect on the organization.
* Participates in coordination of special employee events.
* Will be required to be familiar with all appropriate state and federal laws and regulations including FMLA, COBRA, HIPPA.
* Assists Human Resource Manager & Operations Manager with various special projects.
* Will act as a back-up for payroll processing & benefits administration.
* Assists the department with various human resource programs and procedures for all employees.
_*BASIC QUALIFICATIONS*_
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
* A minimum of three years of job-related experience in the human resource field required, preferably in am manufacturing industry.
* Proven experience in recruiting for manufacturing positions (operators, skilled labor, etc.
).
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Extensive knowledge of and proficiency in using Microsoft Office and payroll systems.
* Needs to be an independent thinker, have initiative and self-motivation.
* Must have high level interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
* A high degree of confidentiality, discretion and judgment is required.
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,221.
06 - $67,707.
