Roll Coat Operator Date: December 1, 2023 Department: Lamination Business Unit: Porter Corp Location: Holland, MI Reports To: SIPs Production Supervisor – Evan Cooper FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Compensation: Hourly Summary The primary purpose of this position is the operation of the Roll Coat, applying adhesive to foam pieces leading the lamination process.
Responsibilities include operating or tending the glue machine that uses adhesive to join together OSB and EPS to create SIPs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate adhesive roll-coating machine Prepare machine for operation Properly maintains and cleans machine Stages raw materials Responsible for data tracking and computer entries Reporting of materials and quality checks Operate a hi-lo Responsible for setting and operating press equipment Perform other duties as assigned Competencies Analytical Decision-Making Communication Learning & Development Planning & Organizing Professionalism & Integrity Risk-Taking/Creative Thinking Teamwork & Relationship-Building Results Orientation Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent Manufacturing experience preferred Machine Operation experience preferred Travel This position requires minimal to no travel Computer Skills Basic computer skills Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems PlayCore is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
