We are looking for a Systems Administrator* *who will be responsible for managing Worksighted's workstations, servers, and various network and infrastructure devices to maintain efficient operations.
This role will also work closely with the Junior Systems Administrator on department projects and initiatives and will support Worksighted employees with their internal IT requests.
*Who You Are:* * You have an Associate's Degree in Computer Science.
* You have at least 5 (five) years of experience in a Systems Administrator role working in an Internal IT environment.
* You have in-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems & troubleshooting systems, both desktop and server.
* You have an advanced understanding and experience in utilization of RMM Tools including the administration of systems, experience with ConnectWise preferred.
* You have in-depth knowledge of Windows AutoPilot.
* You understand and can troubleshoot various technical problems, including (but not limited to) Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, VMWare, Routing, Switching, Firewall, Wi-Fi, VoIP, Cisco, Meraki, Synology, and Dell EMC SAN.
* You are detail-oriented and have a customer-first approach to communication and service.
* You have the ability to research solutions and information relating to support and client service processes.
*What You're Accountable For:* * Installing, configuring, and maintaining internal servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
* Being responsible for advanced internal support requests including installation and administration of hardware and software.
* Developing and maintaining data backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and to ensure minimal downtime in case of system failures.
* Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and responding to alerts to ensure optimal uptime and availability.
* Implementing and monitoring security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect systems and data integrity, while staying updated on emerging security threats and solutions.
* Participating in the Internal IT Security Advisory Committee and implementing solutions to maintain SOC Compliance.
* Ensuring internal systems and processes comply with industry standards and regulations, and implementing necessary changes as needed.
* Leading and participating in IT projects and solutions within larger business initiatives.
* Maintaining system efficiency by planning and executing upgrades and repairs during and after business hours.
* Overseeing the technical set-up and onboarding of new employees and account changes during employee terminations.
* Providing guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and staff members by sharing expertise and best practices.
* Tracking and maintaining inventory of company IT assets including hardware and licensing.
* Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements.
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
* Assisting with IT-specific building maintenance and security.
* Any other duties and tasks that are required by the Company.
