Job Overview:
Sunrise Acres Egg Farms is seeking to add a full-time, first shift Processing Plant Maintenance Technician to the egg processing team! The Processing Plant Maintenance Technician will be a part of a small maintenance team responsible for maintaining the processing equipment and facilities of three egg processing plants.
Plant Maintenance is responsible for keeping the egg processing equipment in good repair through preventative maintenance programs and immediately responding to incidents that require immediate repair.
Maintenance tasks will vary and change often based on priority and ability to complete task around product.
This position is engaging and can quickly change, candidates must understand that though this is a plant processing position, this is also an egg production farm.
Agriculture work can have weeks with increased hours in order to keep up with the demands of the farm.
Skills and Abilities:
* Experience in some type of maintenance or mechanical background is required
* Electrical experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate
* A willingness to learn is a must
Responsibilities
* Maintain processing equipment such as but not limited to, conveyor systems, wash tanks, the grader
* Have strong communication skills with a variety of team members including other maintenance staff, plant management teams,
* Able to identify issues and implement solutions
* Complete all necessary records honestly and accurately
* Respect and adhere to proper food safety standards including proper Good Manufacturing Programs, Chemical programs and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.
00 per hour
