Sunday Cafe Coordinator

We are looking for someone who loves food and people! The Sunday Cafe Coordinator will work with volunteers to provide food and a great environment for our Sunday and Monday night services.
*Function:* Partner with other Café Coordinators to coordinate the ministry and business activities of Food Service and the Café Teams.
Lead volunteer teams serving in Ren’s Café, and Café Commons.
The café team is responsible for providing hospitality while offering quality food and beverages to the guests and ministries of Ridge Point.
*Hours:* Part-time, average 16-20 hours weekly, including weekend and/or possible evening hours *Responsibilities:* *Café*: · Partner with the café coordinators to operate the café within income and expense projections · Recruit, train, schedule, empower and communicate with café volunteer teams · Communicate inventory needs for café to Café Coordinator · Primary lead for Sunday services and back up for Monday night service · Assist with special service food preparation as needed · Partner with the Café Coordinators to maintain a clean kitchen for food licensing · Partner with Café Coordinator to create food menus · Ongoing evaluation of food service operations to identify future ministry opportunities · Initiate proactive leadership in operating café locations as part of the church’s mission field – placing a high value on building community in a comfortable & hospitable environment *As a staff we value:* · *Christ In You, Then Through You*: Be transformed by who you are in Christ in a way that moves you to transform and bring health to your relationships and environments · *Stronger Together*: Become stronger together by forming authentic relationships founded on trust.

*Experience:* · Preferred experience in food service operations – operating, purchasing, inventory tracking, and/or food service marketing · Preferred two years of proven ability to develop, lead, and motivate volunteer teams · Comfortable with POS and computer programs · Member or willing to become a member of a Fearless Church within 6 months of employment Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.
