If you conversationally speak and reflect music really well (without being handed charts, notes, etc) and would like to try some trio experimental improvised music sessions, I am like-minded and want to see if a couple of compatible "music speakers" can be found locally near Holland.
.
I can host - I maintain a very nice studio setup with pretty much all we will need at a professional level in a clean & warm acoustically-treated environment.
I play guitar and keys fluently, but can sub in for bass or drums as required.
I'm (primarily) looking for a drum person and a bass person.
Percussionists only need to bring sticks (and cymbals if you are very finicky, however mine are generally fine) and bass players should bring a favorite bass.
The rest is there and good.
I've been listening to a lot of light jazz and Metheny lately, so you sense the direction, but I'm skilled in many styles and play guitar at an advanced/expert level, with 40yrs+ gigging experience.
Big Note: Not seeking a band - got that already - quite busy as things are.
Instead these will be random improv meets when the schedules allow for all, perhaps a few times per year max, and should be fun and a no-stress situation.
Just clear musical improvised conversation.
Recording is always optional
I truly love improvisation and collaboration, you should too.
No chemicals/drink/whatever, please.
Your contribution to life's drama should be expressable in the notes you can play.
I have quality musical references/links available, and you should be able to provide same as well, so I'm not wasting your time and you aren't wasting anyone else's, either.
Send a message & links to your stuff if this idea clicks to you.
