- Supports families in English and/or Spanish as their primary service provider, providing interpreter services with other providers as needed.
- Conducts assessments appropriate to determine eligibility for Early On.
- Supports children aged 0-3, in all areas of development.
- Provides services in the family’s home and/or child-care setting.
- Coaches families and/or caregivers in appropriate child development.
- Knowledgeable about Special Education rules and regulations.
- Connects families to resources to help meet their needs.
- Prepares and submits Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) paperwork and participates in Individualized Education Plans (IEP) as needed.
- Provides services according to a year-round calendar.
- Works as part of a Primary Service Provider Model team in which the employee is required to work on all aspects of a child’s development and utilize other team members for support and guidance.
- Provides occasional office support for Spanish/English translation as needed.
