We are a not for profit, early childhood center located in Zeeland, MI.
We are looking for candidates to join our team in our preschool classrooms!
Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Conduct assessments to track each child's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect and cooperation
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
