We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing customer relationships, and ensuring a positive overall experience for our clients.
This role involves handling inbound and outbound phone calls, managing orders, providing support, and addressing customer inquiries.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
*Customer Interaction:*
* Handle incoming calls by responding to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
* Initiate outbound calls to follow up on orders, collect feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Cultivate a positive and helpful demeanor to foster a welcoming customer experience.
*Order Management:*
* Accurately and efficiently input and oversee sales orders.
* Offer assistance in tracking order status, providing shipment information, and managing delivery schedules.
* Support customers in processing returns and exchanges, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
*Customer Relationship Management:*
* Establish and nurture robust customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
* Proactively attend to customer concerns and inquiries to elevate overall satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments to promptly address and resolve customer issues.
*Retention Strategies:*
* Execute plans to retain and expand customer accounts.
* Recognize opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services to increase customer value.
*Data Management:*
* Precisely record and maintain customer information in the database.
* Employ CRM tools to monitor customer interactions, track trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
*Qualifications:*
* Demonstrated expertise in a customer service position, ideally within a dynamic setting.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Robust problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
* Familiarity with order processing systems and proficiency in CRM software.
* Capability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.
* Positive demeanor and a dedicated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
*Education & Experience:*
* Completion of high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is advantageous.
* Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or related fields is a valuable asset.
*Working Conditions:*
* The primary work hours for this position are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, at our Zeeland location.
Regular office hours are a fundamental aspect of the role, with occasional flexibility based on business needs.
* Occasional overtime may be necessary during peak seasons for this role.
