Agritek is currently seeking talented, experienced individuals to apply for our Scheduling & Cost Analyst position.
*CORE FUNCTIONS:*
*Scheduling*
* Update Schedule with new customer purchase orders, issued vendor purchase orders, vendor item receipts, in process material updates and inventory.
* Knowledge of QuickBooks: Create sales orders, review vendor purchase orders and item receipts, etc.
* Track and ensure proper invoicing of all products, extra charges and projects
* Provide feedback on issues that may arise with pricing, invoicing, and customer requirements and communication
* Assist in identification of material needs, procurement, expediting and follow-up as required
* Work with vendors and customers as needed
*Cost Analysis*
* Project and production costing, analyzing cost to budget/goals
* Implement cost allocation strategy, cost allocation calculations, direct/indirect cost analysis
* Benchmarking, financial comparative analysis versus our industry
* Other special projects and research as directed
*Administration*
* Assist with generating and auditing physical inventory reports
* Identify and correct mistakes in QuickBooks and production schedule
* Assist with customer and vendor documentation and related communications as necessary
*Other*
* Cover communication and information requests for Purchasing Manager when they are not in the office
* Creatively work for continuous improvement
* Involvement in special projects as needed
* Be very disciplined about getting details right
* Follow best practices of cost analysis and accounting work orders, purchasing, scheduling, and job safety
*Key Performance Indicators *
* Accuracy and timely updates of schedule, purchase orders, inventory, reports
* Employee, Customer, and Vendor feedback shows positive experience with level and attention of service
* Continuous improvement and innovation
* No customer complaints or corrections due to inaccuracies in schedule or invoicing
*Minimum Job Requirements *
* Minimum 2 year college degree or documented equivalent accounting knowledge or 2 years relevant job experience
* Proven Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel including: formulas, reports, profit and loss, graphs, etc.
* Experience with Quickbooks preferred
* Good logistical and organizational skills
* Ability to work well with people
* Detail oriented, proven math skills and attention to numerical detail
* Proven record of integrity, good work ethic, and good attendance
* Physical and mental ability to handle workload and long hours when needed
