Summary:
The Pupil Accounting/Student Data Coordinator is responsible for various functions essential to the district.
These include coordinating pupil accounting districtwide, managing the district Student Information System (Infinite Campus), and supporting building secretaries with these same areas.
This position also includes managing shared time, and various state reports.
Responsibilities:
Maintain user accounts for SIS (Infinite Campus).
Directly responsible to assist district staff with SIS software issues.
Train all new staff with SIS for attendance and family information.
Work directly with secretaries in all aspects of ISS including upgrades, promotions, progress reports, transcripts, scheduling and custom reports/exports.
SIS liaison for administrative office personnel.
Coordinate Transportation and Food Service in the use and exchange of data with the SIS.
Directly responsible for district maintenance of pupil accounting data as required by the State of Michigan.
Oversee all aspects of data collection.
Work with ZPS pupil accounting, special education, and building personnel in the data collection process.
Coordinate shared time schedules with shared time partners, including impact on both pupil accounting and the student information system.
Primary point of contact with shared time partners when it comes to the same.
Maintain membership, attend conferences and training such as MICUG (Michigan Infinite Campus User Group, MPAAA (Michigan Pupil Accounting and Attendance Association) and Infinite Campus Trainings.
Responsible for reports such as Direct Certification Report, Student Record Maintenance (SRM), GAD, Section 25, General Collection, FTE Audit, TSDL, Civil Rights Data Collection and others.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred or at least five years related work experience.
Must have strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Provide thoroughness, accuracy and consistent follow-through.
Should be self-directed and task oriented to handle multiple projects and priorities.
Computer and office application software expertise, knowledge of database systems and reporting, windows operating systems and software applications.
Ability to pay attention to detail, prioritize, work independently and cooperatively as well as schedule and produce work in a timely manner.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, students and parents.
Ability to problem solve, especially when it comes to technology issues.
Schedule:
40 hours per week, 52 weeks/year
There is flexibility for this position to be part-time if needed.
Compensation:
Level V - $18.
